He works at Inceptive, a Berlin-based start-up co-founded by Jakob Uszkoreit, co-author of the landmark paper Attention Is All You Need. As part of an international team of researchers with backgrounds at institutions including Google DeepMind, Meta FAIR, Stanford, Oxford and Yale, he develops AI models trained on sequential biological data, including RNA and proteins.
He is a co-author of research publications in machine learning, including work published in Knowledge-Based Systems and presented at the Polish PP-RAI conference. His research focuses on areas including continual learning and the calibration of language models.
He won a bronze medal at the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) in Beijing. He also represented Poland as part of the team that placed first in the world in the team competition. He is a three-time laureate of the Polish Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence.
He has also achieved strong results in mathematics and computer science competitions and Olympiads, as well as in entrepreneurship competitions.
