Julia is a resident of the small town of Ozorków, a fourth-year student at Stanford University, pursuing two majors. A polyglot—she is fluent in eight languages and is learning two more. She works as a research assistant on numerous scientific projects, including assisting in the work on a book about the wartime experiences of women in Eastern Europe in the 20th century. She is the youngest archivist actively working at the Hoover Institution. She also serves as an assistant in lectures on somnology. Additionally, she volunteers with NGOs that support high school students in their journey to the world's top universities.
