George is pursuing an M.Sc. in aerospace engineering at the Technical University of Munich, Germany. He is currently completing his master’s thesis following his research visit at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, focusing on the development of surface parallel actuation in response to NASA’s imperative for enhanced optical performance in future space telescopes. In March 2024, he was honored as one of Aviation Week Network’s 20 Twenties – an award which recognizes talented individuals who are on course to change the face of the aerospace industry. Previously, he contributed to the European Space Agency’s development of thermal guidelines for lunar surface exploration as an intern in the Thermal Analysis & Verification Section in the Netherlands. Additionally, George served as an Aerothermal Engineering Intern within the Future Programmes Combustion Team at Rolls Royce Defence Aerospace in the United Kingdom. He holds a B.Eng. in aerospace engineering from The University of Manchester, UK. Beyond his academic pursuits, he is a passionate advocate for socio-economic inclusion.
