Julia studies Space Engineering at the Technical University of Munich and is a member of the prestigious American Brooke Owens Fellowship, dedicated to exceptional women and non-binary individuals in the aerospace industry. During her studies, she has simultaneously gained industry experience operating satellites and working on the development of aircraft engines and propulsion systems for small satellites. Encouraging young people — especially girls — to pursue their interests in STEM is very important to her. Julia is passionate about foreign languages and currently speaks four of them fluently. Thanks to the Serce Fund, Julia completed a 6-month research placement at NASA JPL in the United States, during which she used satellite data to create disaster maps. Photo: Mariusz Szachowski.
