Adrianna Czechowska joined the first edition of the scholarship programme in 2022 as an International Baccalaureate student with strong academic results and active involvement in social initiatives. At that time, she worked on projects focused on effective learning methods and co-organised initiatives supporting the integration of Ukrainian youth. She also served as an ambassador, mentor, and community leader in the “Zwolnieni z Teorii” programme, and was engaged in non-governmental organisations supporting youth development as well as the European Youth Parliament, where she co-organised, among others, a regional session in Lublin.
She is currently studying Biomedical Engineering and Technologies at the Lodz University of Technology (International Faculty of Engineering). Thanks to the support of the Rafał Brzoska Foundation, she has been able to focus on developing technological projects and research activities. She is an alumna of the European Forum Alpbach 2024, where within the Alpbach Ideas programme she developed LAWGIC – a tool using artificial intelligence to simplify legal regulations. With this project, she won the national final of Red Bull Basement 2024 and represented Poland in the global final in Tokyo. She is also a member of the Youth Advisory Board at Roche. In 2025, she served as a Seminar Assistant at the European Forum Alpbach, supporting the seminar “Beyond the Hype: Re-situating AI, Power and Democracy”, and subsequently joined Club Alpbach Poland as a board member.
In parallel, Adrianna is actively involved in academic and technological communities. She is a member of the Robots4Humans research group, where she participates in projects related to rehabilitation devices, and of the UbiComp research group, where she supports hackathon organisation. She also speaks at events, promoting civic engagement and young people’s involvement in social and educational initiatives, including the HOPE festival for student-led social initiatives, Leadership Masterclass, and the “Megabit Bomb” festival, inspired by the work of Stanisław Lem. She has served as a mentor and jury member at HackNation 2025. She promotes a responsible approach to technology development. Together with her team, she presented the Circular Data Center Strategy project at the European Sustainability Congress 2025, focusing on sustainable resource management in data centres.
