At the age of 17, he received a scholarship and began studying at the UWC Dilijan international school in Armenia, which shaped his approach to education and social engagement. He also completed a research internship on international trade under the supervision of a professor at the Geneva Graduate Institute, as well as a six-month internship at the Monetary Policy Department of the Central Bank of Armenia.
He is currently studying macroeconomics at the University of Chicago, where he is on a one-year academic exchange. He has received offers for master’s studies from leading universities worldwide, including the University of Chicago, New York University, Sciences Po, and Bocconi University. He is conducting research on the Federal Reserve under the supervision of economist Douglas Laxton from the International Monetary Fund. He is also a member of the university rowing team, with which he has achieved success in regional and national regattas over the Olympic distance.
In parallel, he is actively engaged in social initiatives.
