Ola comes from Łódź and, at the time of applying for the scholarship, was a medical student at Université Paris Cité, one of the top medical faculties in France. Even before starting her studies, she completed a research internship in neuro-oncology at Wake Forest School of Medicine in the USA. As a high school student, she conducted a research project at the Medical University of Łódź, which she later presented at the London International Youth Science Forum in the United Kingdom. She was a recipient of the ZDOLNI Foundation scholarship and the Adamed SmartUP programme, as well as the second-place laureate of the French Language Olympiad.
She is currently enrolled in the Médecine-Sciences dual degree programme (MD/MSc), combining medical studies with parallel research training at master’s level. She is a laureate of the École de l’Inserm Liliane Bettencourt programme, into which she was admitted ranked 6th in France. As part of this programme and with the support of the Foundation, she is undertaking a research internship at the National University of Singapore. In the 2026/27 academic year, she will participate in an exchange at the Charité University Medical Centre in Berlin, and in 2025/26 she serves as the Youth Delegate of the Republic of Poland to the United Nations.
Alongside her academic work, she is actively engaged in social initiatives as a board member of the Association of Polish Students in France (ASPOL), where she is responsible for a fully free mentoring programme for Polish students planning to study in France. She herself previously took part in this programme as a mentee while preparing for her studies in Paris. As a former Adamed SmartUP scholarship recipient, she currently collaborates with the Adamed Foundation on educational programmes in the fields of natural sciences and STEM, implemented in Poland and Vietnam.
