A young artist specializing in both artistic and functional ceramics, currently studying at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław. She creates small-scale sculptural forms that she treats as a personal language of expression, understanding art not only as a profession but as a way of life and inner dialogue. She has participated in numerous exhibitions and projects, including Social ART.st.ART in Trevi (Italy), the Gerhart Hauptmann House Museum in Jelenia Góra, and the MD_S Gallery in Wrocław. Her goal is to establish her own artistic studio, which will serve both as a creative space and a venue for educational workshops. Her motto is: “Second place is also an achievement. People who come second often succeed because they do not rest on their laurels but keep fighting.”
Thanks to the support of RBF, Alicja established her own ceramics studio, enabling her to realize projects previously beyond her reach, and won a prize in the nationwide young artists’ competition “PROTOTYPES” during the Art&Design NOW festival. Her works have been exhibited, among others, at the Embassy of Switzerland in Warsaw and the OKO Gallery in Oława. She also participated in an international project exploring the concepts of data sculpture and data drawings at ESAD Orléans University in France. At the same time, she continues her studies and works on her bachelor’s thesis at the Academy of Fine Arts.
As part of her social engagement, she participates in artistic projects at RIO Centre and took part in the #HerStory Mentor Society & Future-Ready Art Exhibition organized by Girls Future Ready, an initiative supporting young women in art and education. Through collaboration with RBF mentors, she plans to further develop exhibition projects aimed at promoting emerging art.
