Medical student at the University of Cambridge, where he completed a degree in Immunology and Oncology. At the time of applying for the scholarship, he was gaining experience through internships at Harvard teaching hospitals and had previously worked at the European Space Research Centre, as well as conducted research at the Sanger Institute and Imperial College London, coordinating collaboration between the University of Cambridge’s Department of Haematology and the London Zoo in studies on tropical animals. He is also a board member of the Royal Society of Medicine in the UK and the MedTech Foundation.

Currently, thanks to the opportunities enabled by the scholarship, he is the author of multiple scientific publications in the field of plastic surgery, published in leading peer-reviewed journals. He presents his research at international conferences across the USA, UK, France, and South Africa, and has completed internships at leading plastic surgery centers around the world, such as the Cleveland Clinic and Asan Medical Centre in Seoul. He is also involved in collaborations with Cambridge Judge Business School and the King’s Entrepreneurship Lab, where he works on developing new healthcare technologies.

As a board member of the national plastic surgery association, he organizes Virtual Reality–based workshops and webinars aimed at expanding access to surgical education for students interested in the field. He conducts pro bono teaching sessions, preparing fifth-year medical students for clinical examinations, and supervises third-year undergraduate pathology theses at Christ’s College, Cambridge. Additionally, as Vice President of the Robotic Surgery Society, he organises workshops promoting programming skills in medicine and the use of emerging technologies in clinical practice.
