Mikołaj Cudny was a second-year mathematics student at the University of Cambridge when he joined the Foundation. He is a two-time laureate of the Polish Mathematical Olympiad and a gold medalist of the international Baltic Way competition. He graduated with distinction from a secondary music school in piano and also served as President of the Cambridge University Polish Society, actively contributing to the university community.

He is currently a third-year mathematics student at Cambridge and is preparing for a summer research project in analytic number theory under the supervision of Dr. Lasse Grimmelt. His research focuses on advanced topics in analytic number theory, including problems related to the Goldbach conjecture and twin primes. With the support of the Foundation, he plans to continue with a master’s degree at his home institution and subsequently pursue a PhD in the United States. His goal is to develop a top-level international academic career while also engaging in entrepreneurial activity.

In parallel, Mikołaj is actively involved in social initiatives, working with the Polish community at the University of Cambridge by organizing events promoting science and supporting the mission of the Rafał Brzoska Foundation. He regularly visits Polish schools and high schools, where he meets students and inspires them to develop their passions in mathematics and the arts, as well as to pursue their dreams. Through his activities, he promotes the values of knowledge-sharing and mutual support in achieving ambitious goals.
