Wiktor is a PhD candidate in the Department of History at Yale University, where he specializes in the history of Eastern Europe and Russia. He graduated with honors from the London School of Economics with a degree in International Relations. He worked at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University as a researcher on Professor Niall Ferguson's team, assisting in the work on the second volume of the biography of former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger. In December 2023, Wiktor achieved 'candidate' status, which is the final stage before completing his PhD. His articles on politics and international affairs have been published in POLITICO, Newsweek, The National Interest, Kultura Liberalna, Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, and American Purpose. Wiktor participated in a development program for young foreign policy experts organized by the Alexander Hamilton Society in Washington, D.C., and will soon present his research on Russian-American relations at the Pentagon, the headquarters of the U.S. Department of Defense.
