A concert violinist recognized as one of the most promising artists of his generation in Poland, he began his artistic path as a student at the Academy of Music in Łódź, already collaborating as a soloist with numerous Polish philharmonic orchestras. His debut album was nominated for the Fryderyk Award, and he was named a Coryphaeus of Polish Music in the Discovery of the Year 2023 category. Recipient of the Award for the Highest-Ranked Polish Participant at the International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition in Poznań, as well as winner of first prizes in dozens of national and international violin competitions.
He is currently pursuing studies at both the Hochschule für Musik FHNW in Basel, in the prestigious class of Prof. Rainer Schmidt, and the Academy of Music in Łódź, where he continues to work with his long-time mentor, Prof. Łukasz Błaszczyk. With the support of the Foundation, he successfully combines musical education in two countries with an intensive concert career. Recently, he has performed as a soloist in some of Poland’s most prominent concert halls, including the National Philharmonic in Warsaw, the Łódź Philharmonic, the Zielona Góra Philharmonic, and the Świętokrzyska Philharmonic, collaborating with orchestras such as Sinfonia Iuventus, Sinfonietta Cracovia, and the Primuz String Orchestra. He has released his second solo album in collaboration with the Academy of Music in Gdańsk and gave the premiere performance of the Violin Concerto in D minor by Grzegorz Fitelberg, rediscovered after more than 120 years. His work also includes publications and media appearances, including a column for Meakultura and interviews for Polish Radio Programme Two and the Orfeo platform. In Basel, he co-forms a piano trio selected for the prestigious MERITA programme as one of only three ensembles from Poland and forty-four from across Europe. The programme offers artistic residencies, training opportunities, and concerts at renowned European music institutions.
As he emphasizes, his studies in Basel have significantly broadened his artistic horizons and created opportunities for comprehensive artistic development. Drawing inspiration from various fields of art, he is also actively involved in promoting the works of Polish composers abroad. Recently, alongside the premiere performance of Grzegorz Fitelberg’s Violin Concerto in D minor, he has performed works by Mieczysław Karłowicz, Andrzej Panufnik, and Henryk Wieniawski, and recorded Grażyna Bacewicz’s Piano Quintet No. 1. In the coming years, he plans to expand collaboration with young Polish musicians across Europe and organize cultural events promoting Polish culture, offering a fresh perspective on the lesser-known and often overlooked works of Polish composers.
In his artistic work, he is driven by a constant search for authenticity, avoiding compromises on stage and believing that music can genuinely shape reality, making the world a better and more beautiful place.
