Zoja is a talented cellist from Bydgoszcz and a laureate of numerous national and international competitions. She stands out for her artistic maturity and performs demanding repertoire with ease, regularly appearing as a soloist in philharmonic halls in Poland and abroad. She has participated in many masterclasses and music projects, including “Concertgebouworkest Young” in 2022 and the “Luzerne Music Center” in 2023. Her goal is to continue her dynamic artistic development, take part in international competitions and workshops, and study with distinguished professors, while consistently building her position in the world of classical music, where, as she emphasizes, women are still underrepresented at the highest level.
Thanks to the support of the Rafał Brzoska Foundation, Zoja was able to relocate in order to graduate from one of the most prestigious music schools in Poland and subsequently began her studies at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where she is currently a first-year student.
She continues an active concert career, performing in charity concerts both at and outside the university, as well as playing in nursing homes, schools, and kindergartens. An important aspect of her activity is also her engagement in gender equality in the world of classical music and the cello.
