Economist and professor at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), expert in international economics. She serves as Deputy Director of the Institute of International Economics at SGH and Chair of the Program Council for the International Economic Relations program. Her research focuses on trade in goods and services, globalization, EU economic cooperation with third countries, and sustainable development. She is the author and co-author of scholarly publications, expert reports, and projects on economic policy and international economic cooperation, regularly presenting her research at national and international conferences. An experienced mentor and academic teacher, she completed an international tutoring course as part of the Masters of Didactics program, working as a tutor to support the academic and personal development of students. She has led classes and educational projects in countries such as Mexico, France, and Turkey, and is an enthusiast of modern teaching methods. She takes great joy in guiding and supporting successive cohorts of students and young researchers exploring their academic and professional paths. She has received numerous awards for her scientific and teaching achievements, including the Professor Edward Lipiński Award from the Polish Economic Society for her book “Międzynarodowy handel produktami wiedzy”, which brought new insights to the field of economics in Poland, as well as distinctions from the Rector of SGH. She is a two-time recipient of the Dekaban-Liddle Senior Fellowship at the University of Glasgow. In her mentoring work, she focuses particularly on strengthening competencies and supporting young professionals aiming to build their careers in public, governmental, and non-governmental institutions — both in Poland and abroad.
