A Nuclear Reactor for a 5-Year-Old – A Passion for Physics: Nikodem Ciomcia in a Fireside Chat

Nikodem Ciomcia is a 22-year-old student at the University of Warsaw, where he studies physics as well as nuclear energy and chemistry. He combines theoretical research with scientific computing and programming, yet sharing knowledge is equally important to him; he works as a physics teacher and has been active in the Scouting movement for years.

In the latest Fireside Chat, he speaks with CEO Rafał Brzoska about the mysteries that still remain in physics, the situation facing young scientists in Poland, and why relationships, collaboration, and strong teams are just as crucial to science as knowledge and funding.

The conversation also touches on the future: CERN, a career as a professor, or perhaps even a Nobel Prize one day?

We invite you to watch the conversation between Rafał Brzoska and Nikodem Ciomcia.
