As the leader of the Polish Red Cross volunteer group, Ewa has organized numerous charitable initiatives, including food drives, meal preparation for people in need, public space clean-up actions, and first aid workshops. She has also coordinated educational and civic events such as a legal competition, a TEDx Youth conference, and a conference dedicated to the rule of law. For one year, she lived in Finland, where she worked within the European Solidarity Corps at the Sininauhasäätiö Foundation, supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and those with refugee backgrounds. For her civic engagement, she was awarded the Main Prize of the Mayor of Warsaw for young people contributing to civil society, named after Tadeusz Mazowiecki.
Thanks to her scholarship, Ewa is currently studying International Relations at the Brussels School of Governance (Vrije Universiteit Brussel), with a strong focus on human rights and the rule of law. As part of her professional development, she is undertaking an internship at the European Parliament, where she works on issues related to agriculture, defence, and the security of border regions. She serves as the coordinator for development and strategy implementation at the Pro Civium Civic Association and is involved in the “Oh, Europe!” project, which aims to promote knowledge about the European Union, its activities, and its funding programmes.
In parallel, she is engaged in social initiatives as a volunteer with the ThinkYoung Foundation, which delivers technology workshops for secondary school students in Poland, and collaborates with the Open Dialogue Foundation, focusing on human rights regulation and advocacy work.
