In the third episode of Fireside Chat, Rafał Brzoska speaks with Julia Ornaf — this year’s scholarship recipient of our Foundation.

Julia is a sculptor, and in her conversation with the President she talks about her artistic journey, inspirations, and creative process. She discusses working on her diploma project at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, experimenting with new technologies such as 3D scanning and printing, and exploring themes of self-portraiture, deformation, and the influence of media on how we perceive our own image.

The conversation also touches on reflections about contemporary art, sources of inspiration, and the perseverance and motivation that are essential in the development of a young artist.
