On December 22, we once again gathered at the Orangery of the Wilanów Palace to celebrate the latest edition of the Foundation’s scholarship program. The event was attended by scholars, alumni, mentors, and the Founders – Rafał Brzoska and Omenaa Mensah – alongside the Foundation team.
During the meeting, we officially welcomed new mentors to the Foundation:
The event featured an artistic program prepared by the scholars and alumni of the Rafał Brzoska Foundation. Highlights included a violin recital by Wojciech Niedziółka (violin) and Maciej Skibiński (viola), as well as the premiere of the music video for the track “Bridges” (Mosty).
The piece was created by Nina Anto, Hanna Derej, Aga Płaczek, Małgorzata Bobińska, Natalia Dragan, Zoja Giza, Pola Hayder, Kasia Palowska, and Paulina Pietras. “Bridges” has become the symbolic new anthem of the Foundation—a story of connecting worlds, responsibility, and intergenerational collaboration.

A major highlight of the evening was the announcement of the Pathfinder Fellowship—a prestigious internship program initiated by Foundation Alumna Julia Stankiewicz. The program will allow Polish students to apply for a 10-week research residency at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). The recruitment is being carried out in cooperation with the Polish Space Professionals Association (PSPA). Scholarships for the successful Pathfinder Fellowship laureates will be fully funded by the Rafał Brzoska Foundation.
The Annual Scholars’ Meeting was more than a moment of reflection; it was, above all, a time for celebration, dialogue, and setting new directions for the growth of the Foundation’s community.
